During “Awl in One” benefit from the experience of three different instructors teaching three basket making techniques over three days. The course focuses on basket making traditions that stem from the swamps and bogs of northern Minnesota including melon-style red osier basketry, black ash basketry and the preparation of cedar inner bark and wood for simple woven baskets. You choose between one or two day projects and rotate through each basket making style at your own pace.
