Course
Armor for the Artisan: The Leather Work Apron
Course Overview
Nature's first fabric is still its toughest. Whether it is shards, sparks, or splinters, nothing protects your hide like a hide. We'll start with a fresh one of tough latigo, cut it to fit, then settle it on your torso with straps, flaps, buckles, or ties. You choose the level of modernity, we'll work through it using hand tools and elbow grease. Add pockets, tool slots, and bling as you see fit. At day's end, you'll walk out ready to tackle any project in your home shop. Nothing comes close to the bond you'll make with your new second skin as it moves and reacts with you for years to come.
