Technology Manager

The Technology Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of North House’s technology and website as well as other systems including phones, database, servers, wired/wireless networks, course registration platforms, and audio visual equipment. The position plays a key role maintaining the day-to-day operations of the school while also advancing the systems that expand the reach and efficiency of the staff team. Significant experience in technology and systems management essential, prior involvement in educational or public programming desired, along with enthusiasm for working together in a bustling, mission-driven team environment. Monday - Friday. Full time with benefits. Annual salary $51,500 - $53,500. Based in Grand Marais, MN.
Classroom Coordinator and School Store Host

This Classroom Coordinator and School Store Host serves in two unique roles on the North House team. In one capacity, this role works in cooperation with the rest of the Facilities team in the care and advancement of the North House campus. Managing classrooms, tools, and instructor communications are central to the work of this role, as well as assisting with thematic weeks, special events, and facility rentals. This position also serves as part of the Front Office and School Store (FOSS) team in being the welcoming face of North House, providing excellent customer service to students, instructors and visitors, this position is responsible for assisting with retail sales and coursework registration, as well as maintaining the operations of the Front Office and School Store. Significant experience in customer service, strong organizational and time management skills, and experience in building maintenance and repair are needed for this role, along with enthusiasm for working together in a bustling, mission-driven team environment. Full time with benefits. Sunday - Thursday. Annual salary $49,000 - $51,000. Based in Grand Marais, MN.

The Artisan Development Program nurtures the growth of the next generation of traditional craft artisans. The program offers: a budget for professional development and mentorship; practice teaching; a living stipend; studio space; and regional, national, and international connections to institutions and artisans.
