Course Overview

Whiz, pop, boing! Make wooden gismos that spin and move. Spend a week in the woodshop with instructor Paul Linden exploring woodworking and tools. Get familiar with how to safely use a carving knife, draw knife, hand saw, drill and more as you work together to create nifty wooden toys and games. Appropriate for beginners and returning campers.

Those looking for a full-day camp experience can pair this afternoon camp with the morning camp for the same age group at the Grand Marais Art Colony. Campers signed up for AM and PM camps will need to bring a lunch and will be walked to their afternoon location by a staff member (the two campuses are 4 blocks apart). Sign up for the Art Colony camp here
