Course Overview
Whether you are a long-time home baker or you only recently took it up, every household with a bread baker has run into the problem of old bread. Whether it was forgotten or there just wasn't time to eat it, throwing out a nice loaf of bread is the worst. This class will teach some classic uses for bread that is just past its prime, and help reduce food waste. Good bread doesn't stop being good just because it gets a little old- explore tasty uses for stale bread, including how to make a first rate crouton, savory french toast, and a delicious panzanella!

You will need the following tools for this class:
Students will receive a recipe packet via email approximately two weeks before the day of class. Students will need to source their own ingredients.
Students will need access to a home kitchen with basic cooking supplies (knives, cutting boards, pans, cookie sheet) and a laptop or tablet with reliable internet connection for joining the course.
